Sanguine Estate Wines – Cellar Door
At Sanguine Estate Wines, we are committed to creating an inclusive and welcoming environment for all guests. We want everyone who visits our cellar door to enjoy our wines, hospitality, and stunning surroundings in comfort and safety. While we acknowledge that our property may not be perfect, we are continually working to improve accessibility and welcome feedback to help us on that journey. We’re more than happy to chat over the phone to better understand your needs and to provide details about our facilities ahead of your visit.
Physical Access
Car Parks
• We have allocated a generously sized accessible parking space in our gravel car park with corflute signs on wooden stakes stating “Disabled Parking”. These car parks are conveniently located closest to the entrance of our terrace.
• To the left of the car park are stairs as well as wide gravel path with a moderate slope that leads down to our beautiful terrace and cellar door. We recommend contacting us in advance so we can provide more details as well as photos to ensure your comfort and ease of access.
Cellar door Entrances from the Terrace
• We have step-free access to our cellar door for guests using wheelchairs or mobility aids.
• Our wooden front entrance door can be difficult to pull open so if preferred, an alternative entrance (glass door) to the cellar door is located on the vineyard side of our terrace. This glass door opens wider.
Cellar Door Internals
• Our main tasting bar includes a lower counter section, thoughtfully designed to comfortably accommodate guests using wheelchairs.
• We offer a variety of seating options, including high bar tables and lower coffee tables, to cater to different preferences and accessibility needs.
• The main tasting area, lounge spaces, and outdoor terrace are all on a single level.
Accessible Toilet
• An accessible restroom is available on-site.
Sensory Considerations
• Our tasting experience can be tailored to suit individual needs. Please feel free to let our team know if you require a quieter space or assistance navigating the venue.
• Guide dogs and service animals are always welcome.
Additional Assistance
Our team is here to help. If you would like photos, have any specific requirements or questions about accessibility before your visit, we encourage you to contact us. We’re more than happy to make arrangements to ensure you have a comfortable and enjoyable experience.
