Given the record of this label in Winewise tastings, it has to be one of the best value wines in the country. This vintage is tightly packed and the dark berry varietal fruit is expressed vividly. The firm structure is part of a balanced palate, but you’ll see the best of this wine in 3-5 years.

How good is this? Both the 2013 and 2012 make the cut. The 2012 is generously flavoured, spicy shiraz with a hint of violets perfume. Savory tannins balance a long palate.
