It’s taken 11 years of surviving drought, fires, floods, locusts plagues, hungry sheep, flocks of birds, hungry kangaroos, frosts, trade wars and now covid to achieve this family wine business goal of becoming a Halliday Red Named Winery.
The 2022 Halliday Wine Companion has just been released and to be awarded “red name” winery status we achieved a 5 star rating every year for 11 years (minimum of 10 to be exact) and to achieve a 5 star rating two of our wines needed to be awarded 95/100 every year. No mean feat!
