11.30am Gates Open for VIP Masterclass Attendees

12.00pm Gates Open for General Public

12.30pm – Food service commences

12.00pm – 12.45pm VIP Masterclass

1.00pm – 1.30pm: Local Support

1.45pm – 2.45pm: King Canyon

3.15pm – 4.15pm: The Badloves

4.45pm – 6.00pm: Ross Wilson & The Peaceniks

6.00pm – Food service finishes

6.30pm: Event Close

6.50pm: Buses depart


What do I need to bring?


Your tickets, a picnic blanket or chairs, hat and sunscreen, a marker or tag to add to your Free Polycarbonate wine glass so you know which one is yours and of course, your comfortable dancing shoes!


Can I bring my own food and drinks?


This is a fully catered event including:

  • Sliders on Tyres Food Truck
  • Charcuterie Hampers
  • Cheese hampers
  • A variety of Beer, Wine plus other alcoholic beverages
  • Soft drinks
  • Coffee and Hot Chocolate
  • Water

Strictly NO BYO drinks and no glass.

BYO small picnic is allowed provided food items are not in glass and plastic or wooden cutlery is used.  Any litter from self-catering must be taken home with you.


What aren’t I allowed to bring?


For the safety and comfort of others as well as our licencing restrictions, please do not bring:

  • STRICTLY NO BYO DRINKS – our licence does not allow BYO drinks and as such we will make available for purchase a range of beer, wines, plus other alcoholic beverages, soft drink, coffee, hot chocolates and water.
  • No drugs or controlled substances.
  • No Glass – as this is an outdoor event, we will provide as part of the ticket price a polycarbonate stemless wine glass from Plumm Glassware to every ticket holder on arrival
  • No umbrellas
  • No metal cutlery, tables, beanbags, tents or sun shelters or aerosols.

Can I bring my own drinking glasses, plates and cutlery?


Strictly no glass and metal cutlery is allowed to be brought onto the property.  This is for the safety of all guests and to prevent fine glass breakages on lawned areas. A Free Plumm Polycarbonate wine glass will be provided to all ticket holders on arrival and can be used throughout the event for all beverages available for purchase and water.

Sliders on Tyres, Antimo Pizza Chef and Goldfields Farmhouse Cheese will provide disposable sustainable plates and wooden cutlery (if needed) with purchases of food.


What drinks are available for tasting or consumption?


Most of Sanguine Estate’s current release wines will be available for tasting within the winery for those wishing to buy wine to take home with them.

The Ross Wilson Cool World Tour wines by the glass only include:

  • Chardonnay

The following can be purchased by the glass or by the bottle for consumption during the day:

Will water be available or do I need to bring my own?


We will have water decanters available to fill your glasses from for free as well as bottled water to purchase to take to the lawned area.


How do I redeem my free Plumm polycarbonate wine glass and my free glass of wine?


Upon arrival at the gate and showing of your ticket, the Free Plumm Polycarbonate glass will be given to you along with a small laminated voucher that can be presented to staff at the “By the Glass” counter.


Can I switch my free glass of wine for another beverage?


You can use your Free by the glass voucher to redeem from a choice of one of the following beverages:

  • Sanguine Estate Rosé
  • Sanguine Estate Cabernets
  • Sanguine Estate Progeny Shiraz
  • Palling Bros Beer
  • Great Northern Beer
  • Carlton Dry Beer
  • Soft drink
  • Water

What happens if I lose my polycarbonate wine glass?


We will have polycarbonate wines glasses available to purchase on the day for $8 each.


What happens if I lose my FREE glass of wine voucher?


Please treat your voucher like money as we are unable to provide a free glass of wine (or other beverage) unless you present us with the voucher.


Can I bring my own alcoholic drinks to the venue?


STRICTLY NO BYO ALCHOL. The event is a licensed event and as we don’t have a BYO liquor licence, only alcohol purchased at the event can be consumed onsite.


Can I bring pets to the festival?


No. Only service animals are allowed during the festival.


Is there parking available at the venue?


Yes. Parking for private vehicles is available but you need to advise that you require a car park space.

Upon arrival, please follow the temporary signs and our parking marshals will help to guide you to a car space.


Where do official festival buses leave from and what time?


The festival offers bus travel from Bendigo and Heathcote that can be booked online only. Bookings close 7pm on Friday 3rd November or unless sold out prior.

The Bendigo Bus will depart from the Bendigo Town Hall, 1189 – 193 Hargreaves St, Bendigo promptly at 10.30am and will go via Heathcote before arriving at Sanguine Estate at 11.45am.

The Heathcote Bus will depart from the Heathcote Visitor Information centre, High St, Heathcote, promptly at 11.30am and will arrive at Sanguine Estate at 11.45am.

First performance commences at 1pm allowing plenty of time to find your spot on the lawn, redeem your free glass of wine and purchase any food.


Can I take wine bottles or wine boxes onto the bus?


We are offering all bus ticket holders FREE Freight on any box purchases of Sanguine Estate wines as you won’t be able to take boxes of wine on the bus.

UP to 4 bottles of wine that you can carry (ie two wine carry bags) can be taken on the bus provided it remains sealed as there is no consumption on the bus.


How can I purchase tickets?

Online ticket sales close at 7pm on the previous day.


Are tickets available at the gate?


General admission tickets will be available at the gate unless sold out prior.

All other tickets including bus tickets and VIP tickets must be purchased online prior to the event.


Can I bring my own gazebo?


No. For the viewing pleasure of all guests, gazebo’s, umbrellas and other temporary structures cannot be installed.  You are welcome to bring your own picnic rugs, and chairs and we recommend you bring hats and sunscreen.


Are there conditions of entry for the festival?


Sanguine Estate practices a very strict Responsible Service of Alcohol policy.

Intoxicated persons will not be permitted.


Intoxicated persons will not be served and will be removed from the Festival.

Persons in possession of liquor will not be permitted to enter the Festival.

It is an offence for minors to purchase and consume alcohol.

It is an offence to purchase liquor or supply liquor to minors.

Supply of liquor to minors will be reported to police and penalties will be applied.

ID may be required for all patrons for service of alcohol.

Sanguine Estate staff can refuse to serve alcohol to any attendee if they believe the attendee is intoxicated.

Festival staff, security or a police officer can refuse entry or ask patrons to leave if they think they are likely to:

Cause injury to anyone else

Damage property

Cause risk to public safety or are disorderly

Be carrying prohibited drugs and/or substances

NO ANIMALS ALLOWED (other than registered service animals)

NO SMOKING ON THE LAWNED AREA or INSIDE.  A designated smoking area will be located at the bottom of the entrance stairs from the driveway

Please be aware that our front entrance gate (on Shurans Lane) will be closed to arriving guests and we have engaged a Traffic Management team who will have event signage on highways and roads around the event reducing speed and providing directions to our back gate entry.
