Sanguine Estate has enjoyed a strong start to the 2014 awards year with some great wins at the 2014 Winewise Championship held in February.
Not just another wine show – this invitation-only event is limited to the best wines judged by the Winewise panel in the preceding twelve months, and gold medal winners from a selection of wine shows throughout the country including the National Cool Climate Wine Show, Victorian Wine Show, and the National Wine Show.
Congratulations to our winemaker Mark on achieving first and second place for Sanguine in the Victorian Shiraz Final (out of a total of 7 Victorian Shiraz)
And the good news doesn’t end there – our 2012 Sanguine Progeny Shiraz was also one of the 6 Shiraz to achieve finalist status in the Overall Shiraz Final – out of a total of 100 Shiraz entered!
Judging was presided over by Winewise Magazine Editor and long time chairman Lester Jesberg. To find out more about the Winewise Magazine and Wine Shows you can visit their website here.
