A perfect day trip, Sanguine’s family run award-winning boutique winery aptly reflects a passion for winemaking, history, family and scenic views. More than 69 acres of thriving vines are the backbone behind Sanguine’s range, lovingly crafted into memorable drops including Shiraz, Rosé, Chardonnay, Tempranillo, Cabernets, Verdejo, Nebbiolo, Legrein, and Grenache. At the 5 RED starWine Companion rated winery and cellar door, you’ll be greeted by one of our amazing staff or family to enjoy tastings of our current release and highly awarded wines.

Coming soon, a new cellar door will commence construction from July 2024. We can’t wait to share new experiences with you upon its completion in late 2024.

Bookings

Booking is recommended to avoid disappointment during busy times. Group bookings of over 8 will incur a tasting fee of $5 per person and must arrive prior to 1pm, due to staffing and capacity restrictions.

Our Place 

Situated on the famed Cambrian-era soils of Heathcote, Sanguine Estate is an ideal location to soak up scenic views, roam the vineyards and absorb a rich history in winemaking. Enjoy a tasting in the wineryamong the fermentation tanks and wine barrels or savour a glass of wine, whilst taking in the spectacular vineyard views, on the outdoor terrace. 

Wine 

As well as current release wines, we have many carefully cellared museum wines available to buy. The Cellar Door team will offer advice and guidance on what is available. 

Food 

We do not have food onsite but you are welcome to BYO food to enjoy either before or after your tasting on our terrace overlooking landscaped gardens and vineyard views.
